The Fortian alumni association began in 1894 and promotes social fellowship, reunions, assists the school and preserves its traditions. It has a regular newsletter FABER EST and over 1,100 members.

Fortians Union Dinner

The Fortians Union dinner is held on the third Saturday in October.  The next annual dinner, in the 175th Birthday year of Fort Street School, will be Friday 18th October at Sydney University
