There are currently over 2,000 degree courses available at universities in Sydney alone, and high-potential students may find choosing a degree particularly challenging as they are often individuals with many diverse talents and interests. At the same time the world of work is evolving rapidly, in this fourth industrial revolution, with whole careers disappearing and new professions emerging. These developments make it more important than ever for students and parents to take advantage of the Careers service to assist them to navigate the complex transition from school to work.

Ms Salisbury is available for one-on-one interviews with students and with parents Monday to Friday 8.30 – 4pm during school terms.

The careers office is located in the library next to the Senior Study with brochures, leaflets and booklets, for drop-in chats, or pre-booked interviews for students in all year-groups.

Careers Expo

Each year a Careers Fair is held for Years 11 and 12 students and their parents/carers. The Careers Fair has been a great success in past years and the feedback from students and stallholders has been extremely positive.

The event takes place in the School Hall. Major Sydney universities as well as several other prestigious tertiary institutions and scholarship programs attend. This is an outstanding opportunity for students to have one-on-one conversations, and ask individual questions of the academics and current students representing the various institutions.
